GoPedal helps organizations create the clarity they need to navigate their most complex challenges — the kind where the stakes are bet-the-business. We work with leadership teams facing messy, high-stakes, multi-stakeholder situations, helping them understand what's really going on, decide on a solution that fits how their organization actually works, and get it implemented.

The Brand Value Engine is GoPedal's framework for building long-term brand value by aligning three things organizations usually treat separately: Visibility (how visible you are to the audiences that matter), Promise (what you say you'll deliver), and Delivery (what you actually deliver). When these three are aligned, they reinforce each other; when even one falls short, the others can't compensate. We use this framework to diagnose where a brand's value is leaking and build a plan to close the gap.

Assess, Decide, Go is GoPedal's approach to every engagement. In Assess, we start with questions — about your organization, the situation, and what's gotten in the way — and dig into the data before suggesting solutions. In Decide, we architect a solution that fits your goals, processes, and how decisions actually get made, then pressure-test it to build buy-in. In Go, we help implement the plan, update messaging, facilitate strategic introductions, and track progress, so the clarity doesn't leave when we do.

GoPedal's team has spent decades in the arena — leading, building, and making decisions with real stakes — not just advising from the sidelines. We're built for situations that look like 3D chess: multiple moving pieces across strategy, messaging, branding, sales, operations, and organizational structure, where each piece depends on the others. We don't hand off a deck and disappear. We work collaboratively with our clients to develop solutions that work within their businesses rather than trying to force-fit one of our own templates or a solution that worked for a different organization. We help our clients build alignment and support within their organizations, and we often stay engaged through implementation so the clarity we help create actually sticks.

David Kreeger founded GoPedal after an unconventional path: nearly a decade practicing law, first at a large D.C. law firm and then in-house at IBM and Lenovo, followed by 14 years as an entrepreneur running a franchised painting business, a mixed martial arts gym, and two businesses in the radio-controlled hobby industry. That range — legal rigor, corporate experience, and hands-on entrepreneurship — is what allows GoPedal to navigate the kind of multi-layered, high-stakes complexity most consultants only advise on from the outside.

GoPedal offers four types of engagements. Strategic consulting is open-ended work that evolves alongside an organization's challenges, helping leadership navigate complex, interdependent decisions and pressure-test strategies. Project-based engagements are scoped around a clear deliverable, with GoPedal assembling the right team to supplement internal resources and see mission-critical work through to completion. Strategic planning facilitation brings outside facilitation to leadership team planning sessions, designing the agenda and creating space for candid conversation that leads to decisions with clear ownership. Strategic advising is an ongoing sounding-board relationship, typically built around monthly calls, for leaders who want a thought partner to pressure-test decisions and get candid, pattern-based insight.

Yes. GoPedal works with organizations nationally. Most of our work can be done remotely, and we are happy to travel as needed for in-person meetings, workshops, or board sessions when useful.
-
Yes. In addition to direct client engagements, GoPedal is often retained by other consultants and agencies to collaborate on projects they're already leading.

GoPedal is best suited to work on complex, high-stakes situations where the answers aren't obvious from the inside — moments when an organization has a capable team and a sense of its challenges, but the path forward still isn't clear.

A few examples of what this looks like in practice: A large electric utility needed an enterprise-wide climate risk assessment and mitigation program — quantifying an uncertain future while working within regulatory constraints and existing business processes. A dual-use defense technology company needed to navigate a go-to-market pivot, market prioritization, and investor narrative — work that helped it secure entry into a $150B DoD program and raise seed funding. A regional health plan needs to launch multiple new brands after a corporate restructuring, including restructuring in the marketing department. The common thread across these isn't a specific industry; it's complexity.

Cost depends on the scope and format of the engagement — an open-ended strategic consulting relationship, a project-based engagement with a defined deliverable, a single strategic planning facilitation session, and an ongoing strategic advising relationship are all scoped and priced differently. We work through pricing for each engagement after an initial conversation about what's going on in your organization, along with timing and budgetary considerations.
